GSM 900 Mobile Jammer : Mobile Signal Blocker

Jamming devices overpower the cell phone by transmitting a signal on the same frequency as the cell phone and at a high enough power that the two signals collide and cancel each other out. Cell phones are designed to add power if they experience low-level interference, so the jammer must recognize and match the power increase from the phone. Cell phones are full-duplex devices, which mean they use two separate frequencies, one for talking and one for listening simultaneously. Some jammers block only one of the frequencies used by cell phones, which has the effect of blocking both. The phone is tricked into thinking there is no service because it can receive only one of the frequencies. Less complex devices block only one group of frequencies, while sophisticated jammers can block several types of networks at once to head off dual-mode or tri-mode phones that automatically switch among different network types to find an open signal. Some of the high-end devices block all frequencies at once and others can be tuned to specific frequencies.

To jam a cell phone, all you need is a device that broadcasts on the correct frequencies. Although different cellular systems process signals differently, all cell-phone networks use radio signals that can be interrupted. GSM, used in digital cellular and PCS-based systems, operates in the 900-MHz and 1800-MHz bands in Europe and Asia and in the 1900-MHz (sometimes referred to as 1.9-GHz) band in the United States. Jammers can broadcast on any frequency and are effective against AMPS, CDMA, TDMA, GSM, PCS, DCS, iDEN and Nextel systems. Old-fashioned analog cell phones and today's digital devices are equally susceptible to jamming. Disrupting a cell phone is the same as jamming any other type of radio communication. A cell phone works by communicating with its service network through a cell tower or base station. Cell towers divide a city into small areas, or cells. As a cell phone user drives down the street, the signal is handed from tower to tower

How Many Of You Know? : What is the Technology Behind the Working of an Air Conditioner

Air conditioners and refrigerators work the same way. Instead of cooling just the small, insulated space inside of a refrigerator, an air conditioner cools a room, a whole house, or an entire business.

Air conditioners use chemicals that easily convert from a gas to a liquid and back again. This chemical is used to transfer heat from the air inside of a home to the outside air.

The machine has three main parts. They are a compressor, a condenser and an evaporator. The compressor and condenser are usually located on the outside air portion of the air conditioner. The evaporator is located on the inside the house, sometimes as part of a furnace. That's the part that heats your house.

The working fluid arrives at the compressor as a cool, low-pressure gas. The compressor squeezes the fluid. This packs the molecule of the fluid closer together. The closer the molecules are together, the higher its energy and its temperature.

The working fluid leaves the compressor as a hot, high pressure gas and flows into the condenser. If you looked at the air conditioner part outside a house, look for the part that has metal fins all around. The fins act just like a radiator in a car and helps the heat go away, or dissipate, more quickly.

When the working fluid leaves the condenser, its temperature is much cooler and it has changed from a gas to a liquid under high pressure. The liquid goes into the evaporator through a very tiny, narrow hole. On the other side, the liquid's pressure drops. When it does it begins to evaporate into a gas.

As the liquid changes to gas and evaporates, it extracts heat from the air around it. The heat in the air is needed to separate the molecules of the fluid from a liquid to a gas.

The evaporator also has metal fins to help in exchange the thermal energy with the surrounding air.

By the time the working fluid leaves the evaporator, it is a cool, low pressure gas. It then returns to the compressor to begin its trip all over again.

Connected to the evaporator is a fan that circulates the air inside the house to blow across the evaporator fins. Hot air is lighter than cold air, so the hot air in the room rises to the top of a room.

There is a vent there where air is sucked into the air conditioner and goes down ducts. The hot air is used to cool the gas in the evaporator. As the heat is removed from the air, the air is cooled. It is then blown into the house through other ducts usually at the floor level.

This continues over and over and over until the room reaches the temperature you want the room cooled to. The thermostat senses that the temperature has reached the right setting and turns off the air conditioner. As the room warms up, the thermostat turns the air conditioner back on until the room reaches the temperature.

Apple's secrete nature is not hidden to any one and at the same time Nokia has been following same tradition when it comes to Lumia 1020. The Lumia 1020 is touted to have a 41-mega pixel rear shooter. The phone is rumored to be announced on July 11 in New York. A lot has been said and written about this Windows Phone 8 handset.

While there is enough proof available in regards to Nokia's forthcoming handset; yet another rumor has hit the web. This time around, few alleged camera samples of Lumia 1020 was uploaded on Flickr. The account belongs to Microsoft Windows Phone manager Joe Belfiore. The image samples suggest that Nokia Lumia 1020 indeed comes with bigger sensor. In the meanwhile, WP Central has got its hands on press shots of EOS or Lumia 1020 to be precise. Going by the leaked shots, the phone is expected to arrive in three bold colors: Yellow, Black and White. The rear back of the device features large camera sensor complete with Xenon and LED Flash.

The report also sheds light on following specifications: 41-mega pixel rear facing camera with an ability to take images in 32MP and 5MP at the same time in 16:9 aspect ratio, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory , however, expandable memory could be missing, NFC, optional wireless charging back cover, among others. The optical image stabilization feature (OIS) will be built in. The phone will have an F/2.2 camera lens, making its really supreme in nature. In the software department, Pro Camera app has been making noise for a very long time. This app will give users to change ISO, shutter speed, manual focus, flash and white balance. Nokia continues to stay mum about the existence of Lumia 1020. Multiple reports suggest that the phone will hit US later this month followed by UK launch. The Finnish giant could announce company's next flagship device in India around Diwali. The makers behind Lumia 920 are already prepping to launch Lumia 925 in the next coming days. HTC Desire 600 vs Sony Xperia SP: Mid Range Versions of Flagships at War

Few months back, Sony was no different from HTC. This Japanese giant, who had a split with Sweden based Ericsson, was trying to recreate its own identity. Tech vendors like Samsung and Apple were making waves in the smartphone market. In 2012, Kazuo Hirai was appointed as a CEO of global conglomerate. The energetic Hirai announced "One Sony "plan and now we can see the results. Sony stormed smartphone market by announcing Xperia Z, Xperia SP and now the latest Xperia ZR. The makers behind PlayStation 4 have managed to dethrone its rivals in select markets, while HTC is still facing lot of difficulties to bring the company back on track.

Dimensions
Sony Xperia SP - 130.6 x 67.1 x 10 mm
HTC Desire 600 - 134.8 x 67 x 9.26mm

Display
The Xperia SP has a large 4.6-inch TFT display having resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. While the Desire 600 packs a 4.5-inch qHD Super LCD2 display with 960 x 540 pixels. In technical terms, a display having 720p HD resolution is comparatively better than quarter High-definition display. But the devices need to be tested in order to understand the viewing angles and color tones.

Processor
Sony went for 1.7GHz dual-core processor powered by Qualcomm MSM8960T Snapdragon processor. The HTC Desire 600, on the other hand, is stuffed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor. It's a quad-core processor, 1.2GHz. Both handsets have same sized 1GB of RAM and 8GB ROM. And yes, these handsets are expandable via microSD card.

Operating system (0S)
It is an important factor, if a phone supports latest updated version of Android. The HTC Desire 600 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with HTC's new Sense 5.0 layer on the top. The new UI brings BlinkFeed to the table. It's a new way to perceive your environment. The Xperia SP also comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Sony uses its own layer on the top of OS i.e. Xperia UI. We haven't seen any drastic changes in the Xperia UI. Being manufactured by Sony, the only added advantage with Xperia SP is that the device is pre-loaded with all company branded services.

Camera
Sony owns Cyber-shot brand, which is known for being the best in the imaging business. On the other hand, HTC phones are known for great camera. Both HTC Desire 600 and the Sony Xperia SP come with an 8-mega pixel rear shooter on the back. The Xperia SP has an 8MP camera with Auto Focus and LED Flash. It supports superior Auto mode and you also get HDR feature too. Same can be said about HTC Desire 600.

Apple To Take on Samsung with $349 Smartphone This September

Apple's low-cost iPhone could easily dethrone Samsung dominance in India, if the Cupertino-based giant price its phone on an affordable side. The tech media have been hearing about the iPhone Lite for the past few months. Whether it is coming soon or not, is yet another question. But after seeing alleged images of rear back shells of so- called low cost iPhone, one can easily predict that Apple is surely something in side R&D labs. Since past week, multiple reports suggest that the Cupertino-based could announce budget iPhone in September
.

Earlier it was speculated that the low cost iPhone would come at an affordable price because it is primarily targeted at cost conscious Indians. Later Pegatron CEO T.H. Tung told shareholders that "iPhone Lite" won't sell for cheap. It is expected to be mid range device. For millions of Indian pricing remains a big issue. Indian customers are charged more for Apple products, here an iPhone 4 costs consumer Rs.26,500. The top rated iPhone 5 is even more expensive at Rs. 45,500. Yes, Apple devices are bit more expensive in India due to taxes and low penetration of high end phones. The other vendors like Samsung are ruling Indian market because of mid range handsets. That said,  Apple clearly needs to bring an affordable iPhone under Rs. 20,000 to make its position affirm in India. Now Sonny Dickson, behind many Apple leaks, has claimed that affordable iPhone would start from $349 (Rs.21,058) for 16GB version and goes up to $549 ( Rs. 33,110) for 64GB version. These prices are not confirmed rather they are based on Mr. Dickson's estimate. In the meanwhile, weiPhone is reporting that Foxconn has already started producing low cost iPhone. This means, one could see "iPhone Lite" to be rolled out in September. As of now, there is no information about the internal specifications to be added in the low cost iPhone. What is known till now is that the device will be offered in multiple colors. To reduce the cost, Apple went for polycarbonate plastic body instead of aluminum shells. Now the tech vendor has already announced iOS 7. So we assume that low cost iPhone will arrive this September with iOS 7. Stay tuned to GizBot
