Asus Transformer Book TX300 Now Official in India at Rs 91,999: All You Need to Know About Windows 8


After an impressive unveiling of quite a number of devices at Computex 2013, Asus has since then not taken a rest. Now once again the Taiwanese manufacturer has launched their latest Transformer Book TX300, World's thinnest Window 8 tablet and detachable Notebook in India. Mr. Apratim Sharma, Country Product Manager, System Business Group, ASUS India in the event said, "The ASUS Design Center starts with what people need and want and crafts perfect solutions that are aesthetic, integrated, intuitive and sustainable. The ASUS Transformer Book supports this belief to the fullest and we are positive that the world's thinnest Window 8 detachable tablet cum notebook will stun the masses in the way it has been designed to." To elaborate on the configuration of the slim notebook that can be converted into a tablet; first of all, ASUS Transformer Book comes with a 13.3-inch display with a Full HD IPS Touch panel along with a 178 Degree viewing angle. The convertible notebook is powered by a 3rd generation Intel Core i5 processor. Separate storage has been provided for the notebook and tablet with a high-capacity hard drive and an Ultra-fast 128GB SSD. The Asus Transformer Book is available with Windows 8 Professional. The device features Asus SonicMaster audio with Bang and Olufsen ICEpower. Asus Transformer Book features all-metal design with unique spun metal finish along with a front 720p HD and a 5-megapixel rear camera As the name itself suggests, the Transformer Book can be used as a Windows 8 multi-touch tablet or a notebook with keyboard and touchpad. Asus Transformer Book can be connected to the notebook dock and it will become a fully functional notebook with up to a 500GB hard drive. The Asus Transformer Book will be available in India at Rs. 91,999 across select ASUS authorized retail outlets starting second week of July 2013.
