Pawan Kalyan puts AD on hold to promote Sahasam
Hyderabad: Power Star Pawan Kalyan is known for his generosity towards producer. There are several instances of him taking deduction in his remuneration after his movies failed at the Box Office. The latest we hear is that the actor has come forward to support BVSN Prasad, who is producing his upcoming film Atharintiki Daredi (AD). He has reportedly agreed to promote the producer's another big budget film Sahasam. Directed by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti, Sahasam is an adventure movie starring Gopichand and Taapsee in leads. The film, which is reportedly made with Rs 30 crores, has been delayed for long time due to some problems. The producer is said to be scared that the film would suffer at the Box Office and may not recover its production cost. He reportedly thinks that it would land him in financial problems. After learning about the fear of BVSN Prasad, Pawan Kalyan is said to have decided to help the producer. The actor has reportedly cancelled the audio release function of his much hyped film Atharintiki Daredi, which was to be held in the second week of this month. Rumours has it that Pawan has taken this decision in bid to promote Gopichand and Taapsee starrer movie Sahasam. Hats off to him. It should be recalled here that Pawan Kalyan has bought the remake rights of Salman Khan's Dabangg to produce it under his own production banner. But the actor gave away the rights to producer Bandla Ganesh Babu after his maiden production Teen Maar failed to make it big at the Box Office. This remake Gabbar Singh went to become all time highest grosser Telugu movie.
